Tokyo-listed Comforia Residential REIT is acquiring seven multifamily, student housing and senior living assets across Japan for a total of JPY 11.4 billion ($86 million). Its manager said the properties are being added to the portfolio as it seeks to provide stable earnings and steady growth. The largest of the seven assets acquired is the Comforia Nippori, a 56-unit apartment building located a short walk from the Tokyo train station. The property was developed by Tokyu Land and has a gross floor area of 2,621 square metres.
